2. Stamp Beautiful Wings Butterfly using Pool Party, Cosmic Grape and Black Licorice Inks on Whip Cream cardstock.
3. Fussy cut wings only.
4. Stamp top butterfly on Grape Fusion background in Black Licorice ink.
5. Pop up butterfly wings place over Black Licorice butterfly.

Thank you for stopping by today!  You've reached the end of the Beautiful Wing Blog Hop. If you missed any blogs along the way you can start at the beginning with Betsye Rose Cimino Erazo's blog.

Be Amazing!!!

Hi All!

I made this card using Fun Stampers Journey "Be Amazing" Collection.  I love, love, love the colors, stamps, papers, and embellishments...they are so cool!

To create the effect on the circle I started with an acetate sheet.  I added drops of the three Silks around the sheet.  Then I lightly sprayed the Silks with water.   After the Silks moved around a bit and blended on the acetate sheet, I placed the circle on top.  You can then move the cardstock around until you get the look you want.  After the circle dried, I stamped it and flicked the silks over the circle.  Other than the drying, it is a very quick technique will a wow effect!  You can speed up the drying by using a heat gun.

All items used in creating this card are from Fun Stampers Journey:

Be Amazing Patterned Paper: PP-0023

Coffee Gift Pocket Card

Hi All!

Today I'm highlighting two of my favorite items retiring from the Fun Stampers Journey Collection, the Enjoy Coffee Stamp Set and Pocket Card Die.  I love the versatility of both, so don't miss out. They, along with the all our patterned papers, are available at 40% off only until June 30th...then they are gone forever!

I used the Ink Splat ATS and coffee stamp to make the background on the Pocket card using Oatmeal Cookie ink on Oatmeal Cookie card stock.  I love the tone on tone look.  I die cut a piece of Neutrals Printed paper in just the center section of the pocket card.  Then I trimmed off 1/8" on both sides so it will fit without adding bulk to the folds.  I fussy cut the coffee cup out of Whip Cream and the sleeve out of Oatmeal Cookie CS and popped it up.

I'm linking this up to the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

To cool your day...a trio of Under the Sea creations

.
I made this trio of Under the Sea creations for trades at the "Celebrate You" Fun Stampers Journey Convention.  The convention was absolutely amazing!  Our new catalog, going live on July 1st, is over 300 pages and has so many new awesome items.  Only a couple of weeks...

It was a Trio Trade...three colors and three types of cards while using one set of stamps.  We were to make a card, an ATC (artist trading card), and a pocket card.

I love the Under the Sea stamp set and had fun creating the background paper, which I do for many of my cards.  I use our most versatile stamp...the Ink Splat ATC.

I covered Whip Cream cardstock, stamping the splat in one color and then another, and another, etc., building depth and creating new colors where the splats intersect.  I made three background papers of different color combinations since I was making 15 trio sets.  You could make it on one sheet by varying the colors used in different areas.  I then stamped and die cut the images.

To create the background of the card and ATC I embossed Pool Play CS using the Ink Splash EF.  The main color I used was one of our brand new colors, Cosmic Grape.  I love these new, bright, amazing colors which you can order on July 1st when our new FSJ catalog goes live.

I used Turbo Teal (new color) Silk to accent the Note Pocket card. Blue Skies sequins were used on the card while Sparkle Dots were added to the ATC and Note Pocket card.  I popped up a seahorse and some fish because "when in doubt, pop it out".

Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge # 57 ~ Embossing

Hello!

Welcome to the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge # 57 ~ E is for Embossing.  I bet you didn't know that Edna had an embossing folder of her own image!  She likes to make her cards with it
(Blogger is acting up and my words vary in size; hope it isn't too annoying).

The water and sky were embossed with the Ink Splash EF, from Fun Stampers Journey, on Pool Play and Whip Cream CS.  I used Beach Ball Ink and a sponge to distress both embossed pieces.   I love our new little float (Don't Sink).  I think he's so cute...what about you?

SoSS Challenge #55 ~ J is for Joke

J is for Joke!

I've been missing from the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers for quite a long time.  Hopefully I be around from now on.  The stamps I used are from Crackerbox Palace Rubber Stamps.  They are Popcorn Bowl, Slimer, Popcorn Kernel, and Monster Fingers
I paper pieced a scrap of paper I made a lomg time ago using Tim Holtz Distress Stain for the bowl.  Slimer, the monster, and the popcorn were colored with Copics. I colored the background and the edges of the sayings by using a sponge and green olive ink.
